DeepSuper Browser Extension — Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the DeepSuper extension for Google Chrome (the "Extension") collects, why, where it is stored, who it is shared with, and the controls you have. The Extension connects your browser to your DeepSuper workspace at https://app.deepsuper.com. Once data reaches your workspace, our general Privacy Policy also applies.
1. What the Extension collects and why
- Sign-in details — your workspace ID, username and password are sent to DeepSuper once to sign you in. The password is not stored by the Extension; a sign-in token is kept in the browser's extension storage so you stay connected.
- Messages you send — text, images and files you type or attach in the side panel are sent to your workspace so an agent can answer.
- Current page context — when you chat from the side panel, the address, title and readable text of the tab you are looking at may be included so the agent can answer about that page.
- Page content and actions requested by your agents — when you or an agent in your workspace run a browser action (for example: open a page, read its text, take a screenshot, click, type, fill a form), the Extension performs it in your browser and returns the result (page text, screenshots, element positions, tab list with titles and addresses) to your workspace. Nothing is read from a page unless an action requests it.
- Website logins you choose to save (optional, off by default) — if you click Remember my login for a site, the Extension collects that site's cookies and local-storage values and saves them to your workspace as an encrypted connection, so your agents stay signed in to that site. It keeps the saved copy up to date when that site's cookies change. This only happens for sites you have added.
- Voice (optional) — when you press the microphone button, audio is streamed to DeepSuper to be turned into text. Audio is not recorded when the microphone is off.
- Read aloud (optional) — text you select and choose to have read aloud is sent to DeepSuper to be converted to speech.
- Technical information — the Extension version, a browser session name, your browser's user-agent string and connection status, used to keep the connection working, route commands to the right browser and diagnose problems.
2. How the information is used
Only to provide the Extension's single purpose: connecting your browser to your DeepSuper workspace so you can chat with your agents and so they can carry out the browser tasks you ask for. We do not use Extension data for advertising, credit-worthiness or lending decisions, or to build profiles unrelated to running your workspace, and humans at DeepSuper do not read it except with your permission, for security or abuse investigations, or where the law requires.
3. Where it is stored
- In your browser — the sign-in token, your settings, the list of sites whose logins you saved, and short-lived copies of cookies/local storage used to restore a saved login are kept in Chrome's extension storage on your device.
- In your workspace — messages, results of browser actions and saved website logins are stored with your workspace on our cloud infrastructure in the United States. Saved logins and other credentials are encrypted at rest. All traffic between the Extension and DeepSuper uses HTTPS/WSS.
- Retention — workspace data is kept while your account is active and deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Voice audio is processed as a stream and not kept after transcription; the transcript is kept as a message.
4. Who it is shared with
- Members and agents of your own workspace, according to the workspace's permissions.
- Service providers that process data on our behalf to run the features you use: cloud hosting; AI model providers that generate agent replies; a speech-to-text provider (for voice input); text-to-speech providers (for read aloud). They may use it only to provide their service to us.
- As required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and DeepSuper.
We do not sell or rent Extension data, and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Your controls
- Forget a saved site login — open the Extension popup and click forget next to the site to stop saving it. To also delete the copy already saved in your workspace, delete that site's connection on the Connections page of the DeepSuper app.
- Microphone — voice input only runs while the microphone button is on; you can also block microphone access in Chrome's site settings.
- Log out — click Logout in the Extension popup to disconnect the browser from your workspace. No further browser actions can be run until you sign in again.
- Uninstall — removing the Extension from chrome://extensions deletes everything it keeps in your browser.
- Access or delete your data — email info@deepsuper.com to request a copy or deletion of data held in your workspace.
6. Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
The use of information received from the Extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The Extension does not run code downloaded from a server; all of its code ships inside the package reviewed by Google.
7. Children
The Extension is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes
If we change what the Extension collects or how it is used, we will update this page and the date above, and where the change is material, ask for your consent in the Extension before it applies.
